We are seeking an accomplished Logistics and Fleet Director to lead and enhance supply chain, transportation, and fleet operations. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of optimizing distribution networks, managing transportation logistics, and driving sustainability initiatives while ensuring compliance and efficiency. The successful candidate will mentor teams, manage budgets, and leverage data to achieve operational excellence and align logistics and fleet performance with organizational goals. 

salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain and distribution networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee transportation operations, including carrier selection, routing, and freight cost management, ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships, including contract negotiation for transportation and warehousing services.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal to maximize fleet efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Implement tracking systems to monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
• Establish and enforce operational policies for fleet management and evaluate sustainable practices, including alternative fuels and vehicle electrification.
• Lead and mentor logistics and fleet teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring performance goals are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and align logistics with organizational objectives.
• Set and monitor KPIs for logistics efficiency, fleet utilization, cost reduction, and compliance.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and prepare detailed performance reports with strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
