As a key member of the management team, this finance director is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for a major entity of this global organization.  Leading a team of 2 direct reports, plus a team of indirect reports, you will be a driver for their month end close procedure including profit and loss statements, and balance sheet analysis. Responsibilities

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
 Ensures the company’s system of accounts and books and records on all company transactions and
assets are properly maintained and controlled.
 Compares performance with operating plans and standards and reports and interprets the results of
operations to all levels of management.
 Provides status of the financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting, and reporting
key financial data.
 Prepares and oversees financial reports 
 Oversee the financial accounting system required to maintain reporting and internal controls.
 Prepare and analyze product cost information to assist in determining appropriate pricing and
identifying cost-saving opportunities
 Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
 Oversee tax compliance matters including federal, multi-state and local corporate tax; state and local
sales tax; property tax; payroll tax; import and export reporting.
 Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and
new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. Advises management of
actions and potential risks.
 Arranges for audits as required and appropriate.
