As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portion of the accounts payable cycle for a high volume of invoices. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

We are in search of a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a part of our team, your role will involve processing financial transactions, maintaining detailed records, and managing customer inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment with a fortune 150 company.

Responsibilities:• Handle the processing of checks accurately and promptly• Use Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data• Ensure efficient processing and recording of company's accounts payable transactions• Perform daily reconciliation tasks to maintain accuracy in financial records• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly• Address and resolve any discrepancies in financial records• Ensure data entry tasks are completed accurately and promptly
