The main objective of the Product Information Specialist is to identify and convert new business opportunities for the company. Success comes through persistence, high volumes of outbound dials, and consistent email communications with prospects and targeted accounts. This position is expected to generate new business, incremental revenue, and testing volume opportunities through executing outbound call campaigns. This is a new business development and lead generation position. Once an opportunity is found, it will be given to a member of the sales team to follow up and execute.  This a 6 month hybrid possible Temp To Hire opportunity.  Must be local to the Tampa area and able to work ONSITE Tues - Thurs.   Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 2-4 years experience required.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. 
• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. 
• Salesforce and Smart Sheets experience preferred
• Microsoft Suite experience

salary: $22 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities

• Driving business through phone marketing campaigns: ISEs will be engaged in sales campaigns over the phone to drive leads, new business, and testing conversions. This can include the need for 40+ outbound dials per day.
• Lead generation: As growth opportunities develop through relationships over the phone, ISEs will be responsible for working with the inside reps to send out qualified leads. These leads may include:
  • Clients interested in additional testing options following a phone conversation
  • Participating in lead generation call(s) with field reps to identify accounts requiring additional support during the month
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
