Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire order process, from gathering specifications to supporting claims, ensuring smooth operations at every stage.
- Develop customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and offering value-added services, including consumption and inventory reporting.
- Cultivate supplier relationships by collaborating with their sales, service, and technical support teams to achieve mutually beneficial results.
- Foster a professional rapport with the assigned Sales Representative to ensure alignment and cooperation.
- Communicate with customers via phone or email to provide product and service quotes.
- Coordinate product shipments, including expedited and third-party freight, in collaboration with warehouse staff.
- Source suppliers and negotiate prices as needed, ensuring the best possible deals.
- Work closely with the Sales Representative to verify correct pricing and implement necessary price adjustments.
- Promote the sale of closeout items to maximize inventory turnover.
- Process documentation for resale adjustments, order errors, and pickups to initiate credit memos.
- Support sales in ensuring that customer-specific inventory is shipped and invoiced
- Collaborate with sales and accounts receivable teams to ensure customer invoices are paid
- Monitor customer inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available, reducing the risk of overstocks and backorders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and follow-up actions.
