Responsibilities
In this position you are responsible for:
- Full life cycle on/off boarding (hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.)
- Conduct employee investigations and recommend actions to effectively resolve policy violations
- Create and maintain employee files
- Process leave of absences
- Stay current on state/federal employment laws and company policies. Share ‘need to know’ information with managers to help improve their supervisory effectiveness and ensure compliance
- Provide training to inform or assist employees/managers on job related activities, policies, and best practices
- Implement HR programs, processes, and procedures as needed from Corporate HR
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- English/Spanish preferred
- 4+ years of experience in HR generalist and/or support roles, with an excellent working knowledge of employee/labor relations Manufacturing and/or Distribution Center Experience is preferred
- Must be able to quickly gain trust and build relationships
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
