We are seeking a motivated and creative summer intern with a background in Education or a related major to assist in the design and development of a comprehensive training program for our department. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the creation of structured learning pathways for our team members while gaining experience in a fast-paced biotech environment.
Who You Are:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify learning objectives, and design clear, user-friendly instructional content.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with multimedia tools (e.g., video editing, e-learning platforms) is a plus.
- An interest in gaining exposure to the biotech industry and understanding laboratory environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while also taking initiative on independent tasks.
- Experience in training or education program development.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (cGMP and GLP) is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Collaborate with supervisors, subject matter experts, and team members to assess training needs and identify knowledge gaps.
- Develop a structured, scalable, and interactive training program tailored to laboratory operations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Create training materials, including detailed workflows, presentations, manuals, and multimedia content, to support hands-on and theoretical learning.
- Pilot and test the training program by conducting sessions with small groups, collecting feedback, and implementing improvements.
- Maintain complete and comprehensive records of the training program, including participant progress and assessment results.
- Assist in documenting and formalizing processes to ensure consistency in training delivery.
- Observe and document current team workflows to ensure alignment of the training program with real-world tasks.
- Perform peer reviews of training materials and ensure all content adheres to regulatory standards (cGMP and GLP).
- Support the onboarding of new personnel by implementing the training program and ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and suggestions for program enhancement with supervisors and stakeholders.
