Responsibilities
- Accounting Process Optimization: Work closely with the project team to optimize NetSuite for the company’s local and global accounting needs including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Intercompany and financial reporting.
- Assist with Data Flow: Ensure accurate and timely flow of financial data into NetSuite and between other business systems, both domestically and internationally.
- Journal Entries & Account Reconciliations: Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations, including bank and other financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify discrepancies in financial data and collaborate with the implementation team and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Financial Reporting Support: Ensure proper reporting and tracking of financial data within NetSuite during the implementation phase, supporting the accurate generation of financial statements.
- Documentation & Compliance: Assist in preparing supporting documentation for reconciliations, accounting processes, and system integration to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS).
- Process Improvement Suggestions: Analyze data and workflows to provide recommendations for process improvements as part of the NetSuite implementation.
