Randstad is assisting a top tier national non-profit organization with a contract possible contract to hire search for an Accounting Specialist.  This role is based in a prime Harrisburg location, commutable from the east shore, west shore, northern Dauphin and Perry counties, and will pay up to $60K upon conversion. Top candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in an accounting role with hands on experience with general ledger entries, spreadsheets, reviewing line items for accuracy and fact checking. Responsibilities

• Prepares expense claims in various formats for specially funded projects and government funded programs
• Audit and analyze financial information to determine any necessary corrections before the presentation on customer invoice
• Reconcile general ledger account balances to budgeted items for assigned customers and communicate variances
• Preparing budgets for new proposals and contracts
• Developing rates outside the range of a typical budget.
• Developing language and justification for financial procedures as they relate to billing and budgeting
• Analyze data to bill 
• Review each line item 
• Find true costs by fact checking
• Advanced to intermediate Excel
• AA degree or BS degree
• 1-2 years experience
• 100% in office during training for 3 months
• Hours 8-4 pm during training
