- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial litigation as a legal assistant or similar role.
- Proficient in legal document management systems and e-filing platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
- strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw is a plus.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
- File documents electronically with federal, state, and appellate courts, ensuring compliance with court requirements.
- Manage and maintain case files, including organizing exhibits, correspondence, and legal research materials.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, and prepare attorneys with all necessary documentation.
- Conduct preliminary legal research and assist in summarizing case law or statutes as directed by attorneys.
- Liaise with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain attorneys’ calendars, ensuring all deadlines and court dates are accurately recorded.
- Handle billing, expense tracking, and other administrative tasks associated with legal operations.
