- Proven experience in BSA/AML/OFAC regulatory compliance, particularly within large and diverse financial institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial crimes due diligence and risk analysis, including conducting transactional reviews.
- Previous experience assessing and underwriting high-risk customer segments.
- Written communication skills with the ability to articulate risk assessments and recommendations in a clear, decisive, and market-appropriate manner.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate company policies, procedures, and various systems to support research and decision-making.
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities focused on assessing and underwriting high-risk customers in accordance with established guidelines.
- Review and analyze client profiles, transaction activities, and other relevant data to identify potential risks and mitigating factors.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured risk summaries and reports, outlining findings and offering recommendations on customer retainability.
- Provide an overall comfort rationale for customer retention, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to effectively support EDD reviews.
- Collaborate with peers, managers, and both internal and external partners to resolve issues and achieve EDD-related goals.
- Assist with the execution of due diligence reporting processes, controls, and related activities.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML/OFAC compliance, as they pertain to EDD.
