Responsibilities
- Processes and tracks invoices, purchase orders, and payments; follows up on outstanding accounts.
- Collaborates with accounts receivable to maintain updated records and address overdue accounts promptly.
- Assists in uploading, reclassifying, and adjusting journal entries for accuracy.
- Assists in performing monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintains specific journal entries, including startup, migrant program entries, and CAPP.
- Supports interest allocations and adjustments as needed.
- Participates in month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing necessary documentation for external audits.
- Assists in organizing records and ensure timely completion of closing tasks and audit readiness.
- Prepares and submits compliance reports, including Sales/Use Tax Returns, Environmental Fees, Secretary of State Statements, and Welfare Exemptions.
- Assists in the execution of the annual inventory count, coordinating with relevant departments and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Maintains open communication to facilitate accurate financial reporting and budgeting processes.
