As an Occupational Health Office Coordinator, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering calls, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments with professionalism and care.
- Manage patient health records, including electronic filing, scanning, and retrieval, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Enter and maintain data in multiple databases, such as electronic health records and PeopleSoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide front-desk coverage, support Workers’ Compensation workflows, and assist with enterprise-level administrative activities.
- Facilitate new hire activities and coordinate follow-up appointments for vaccinations or lab work results.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Knowledge of Epic or other clinical systems is a plus.
