Randstad is currently seeking experienced Tax Managers with a background in Private Client Services for opportunities in the NYC & Long Island, NY areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Private Client Services and be local to these areas, as this role follows a hybrid work model. A CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is required. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, as well as a working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Build and maintain client relationships and collaborate with firm leadership.
• Supervise and mentor associates and senior staff, fostering professional growth.
• Ensure accurate time tracking and billing for self and team.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, applying knowledge to client work.
• Participate in networking activities and seek new client relationships.
• Coordinate with other tax professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of recent tax compliance and/or consulting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification.
• Experience preparing US-based individual, partnership, and entity returns.
• Private Client Services experience needed (high-networth 1040s, Trust, Estate, gifts, etc

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or related field.
• Experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
• Experience working with clients in the production/entertainment industry.

Additional Information:

• Hybrid work schedule with 3 days a week in-office.
• Must be able to commute to any of the listed office locations.
