- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 8+ years of tax compliance experience with a specialization in individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation.
- Private Client Services experience needed (high-networth 1040s, Trust, Estate, gifts, etc
- Recent experience in Public Accounting.
- CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification is required.
- Master’s Degree in Taxation or a related field.
- Experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team while fostering client relationships.
- Collaborate with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment to establish and sustain business growth.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals, particularly those in the financial services industry.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and a working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
- Engage directly with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
- Take the lead in reviewing complex tax returns and maintaining ongoing communication with clients.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, staff members, and external third-party vendors.
- Provide training, supervision, and performance evaluations for staff members.
- Occasionally travel locally to clients' locations, as needed.
- Actively pursue new client relationships and engage in seminars to expand networking opportunities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, applying this knowledge to client engagements.
- Collaborate with fellow tax professionals to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Hold self and team members accountable for achieving developmental goals.
