We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and send tenant billing statements, monitor collections, and handle tenant inquiries.
• Reconcile tenant accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate records
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform variance analyses to identify discrepancies and provide explanations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with annual budgeting processes and periodic reforecasts.
• Analyze property-level expenses and revenue trends.
