Locally owned Distributor with mulitple warehouses across the nation is looking for an organized customer service specialist to help take care of their customer needs and support their sales staff. work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

 As an In Office Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for the effective, accurate and timely processing of orders generated by the customers. The position will also be responsible for building successful business relationships with sales reps, employees and vendors as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Process and follow up of order generation, solve critical customer issues and provide effective support
to the sales staff 
• Prepare bills of lading for warehouse shipments 
• Problem solve any and all issues with customer orders 
• Record non-conformances 
• Provide assistance in moving obsolete inventory 
• Trace customer shipments as needed 
• Enter orders/update Chempax as needed 
• Assist in other office duties including answering phones, provide back up assistance, etc. 
• Other duties may be assigned
