A Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing and facilitating a company's Fleet operations. They ensure that products, materials, and goods are transported and stored efficiently while meeting delivery deadlines and cost constraints. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle unforeseen shipping issues or delays.

salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Order Management:

• Coordinate and track the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses, production facilities, and customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Schedule and manage deliveries to meet customer expectations.

Transportation Coordination:

• Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight carriers, and internal teams.
• Arrange for the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Handle customs documentation and compliance for international shipments.

Inventory and Warehouse Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and status.
• Coordinate warehouse storage and ensure products are stored properly.
• Work with warehouse staff to organize incoming and outgoing shipments.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide regular reports on shipping, costs, and delivery performance.

Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:

• Address shipment delays, damaged goods, or other logistics issues.
• Investigate and resolve complaints related to delivery and service performance.
• Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions in the supply chain
