Responsibilities
- Reviews and processes requests for outside (out of network) medical care
- Verify eligibility, coverage, benefits, confirm provider status, maintain compliance timeframes for requests.
- Call patients to educate them about a program they are elgible for to help them with social health needs, and then processing enrollment.
- Assigning patients to a Community Health Worker and coordinating the introduction.
- Epic/HealthConnect experience is a plus
- Data entry (documenting enrollment)
- Interviewing patients over the phone
- Top 3 skills required: Interpersonal communication, attention to detail, ability to follow directions
