Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholding and direct deposit information.
- Manage timekeeping systems and address any discrepancies in reported hours.
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including quarterly and annual filings (e.g., Form 941, W-2s).
- Administer employee 401(k) plans, including enrollments, contributions, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and other insurance plans.
- Manage new hire onboarding, ensuring completion of required forms (e.g., I-9, W-4) and policy acknowledgment.
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and records in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and company policies.
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation.
- Ensure timely payment of all invoices and maintain records of transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payable records with monthly statements from vendors.
