You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a company's accounting processes and financial records. This role typically involves more responsibilities than a standard bookkeeper, as it often requires overseeing the entire accounting cycle and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data.This is on site in islandia. Responsibilities

• Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger.
• Preparing journal entries and adjusting entries as needed.
• Managing invoices, bills, and vendor payments.
• Overseeing customer invoicing and ensuring timely collections.
• Calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Ensuring timely payroll tax filings.
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensuring adherence to tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Managing audits and working with external accountants.
• ·  Using accounting software like QuickBooks
• Leveraging tools like Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
