We are looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst who is a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with U.S. payroll taxes and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay rate range (DOE) $69.81-95.19/hr
Hybrid Work schedule in Dublin, CA, Onsite, Tues-Thurs
Long term Contract of 1 year
Full Time - 40 hours/Week
Possibility for assignment extension and temp to hire
9-5 PST - working hours with some flexibility

Responsibilities
AS A PAYROLL TAX ANALYST, YOU WILL:
- Review and reconcile U.S. payroll taxes to ensure compliance.
- Assist with W-2, 940, and 941 filings.
- Coordinate with external vendors to deliver accurate and timely tax deposits for federal, state, and local tax authorities.
- Prepare post-payroll tax documents and take on new projects to support continued growth.
- Contribute to potential M&A activities as needed.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant payroll experience with deep knowledge of payroll (5 years may suffice for exceptional candidates).
- A comfort level with fast-paced work environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite applications.
- Extensive knowledge of compensation taxation and long-term equity incentive plans (RSUs, ISO/NQ stock options, and ESPP).
- Advanced knowledge of ADP WFN (U.S. and Canada).
- Familiarity with Workday HCM and Financials.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- CPP and/or CPA certification (preferred but not required).
