Responsibilities

As the Financial Business Analyst, Job Duties include:

• Work with Business Relationship Managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define business problems, project objectives, and scope.
•  Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for new products and cross-platform features. Document these requirements in an organized, traceable manner.
• Develop business cases including solution approach options, benefits, impact assessments, risks, and cost/benefit analysis.
• Define user stories and support grooming activities. Use process mapping techniques to document business processes.
• Support the development of roadmaps, release plans, and project planning activities to guide execution.

Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Financial Business Analyst in a comparable role on medium/large-scale projects.
• Solid experience in business analysis planning, requirements elicitation, design definition, and solution evaluation.
• Familiarity with both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Experience in process mapping and business analysis with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• A solid understanding of financial processes (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting) and familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Syteline, Deltek) is highly preferred.
