Responsibilities
As a Procurement Analyst, job duties include:
- Manage incoming purchasing requests in a timely and professional manner, clarifying requirements, understanding timelines, and communicating order status to internal stakeholders.
- Perform market research and price analysis to assess supply sources, ensure the reasonableness of purchase order prices, and obtain quotes as needed.
- Monitor and manage the purchase order lifecycle, ensuring accurate order entry, proper approvals, timely supplier communication, and successful order closure once goods/services are received.
- Support analysis and reporting of purchasing activities, including tracking spend trends and supplier performance. Compile and consolidate transactional data to build dashboards and summaries.
- 2 + years of purchasing, procurement, or finance experience in a Corporate environment.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to act independently within established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in managing purchasing requests and transactions.
