Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs for manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Analyze mechanical designs for feasibility, performance, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Design and implement upgrades to existing machinery to enhance production capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and maintenance guides.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and processes.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Experience in designing equipment for manufacturing or related industries; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation requirements for manufacturing equipment.
