- Experience: A foundation in securities processing is required. Knowledge of multiple asset types (equities, fixed income, and derivatives) is critical.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis is a must. Knowledge of SQL and experience with system applications such as Charles River IMS, Advent APX, and Markit Enterprise Data Management is preferred.
- Bloomberg Knowledge: Familiarity with Bloomberg data and ideally a Bloomberg certification is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and precision in data formatting is essential for this role.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with Enterprise Technology teams on system improvements.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the manager in overseeing daily operations and play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of market data across systems. You will also contribute to projects related to system enhancements, ensuring our infrastructure is aligned with evolving investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Oversight: Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting the flow of inbound source data, transformations, quality monitoring, and data redistribution.
- Excel-based Production Support: Create and format critical data files for system uploads, ensuring precise formatting for automated applications.
- Data Analysis & Project Work: Work on data analysis projects, utilizing Excel and SQL to examine data from different sources and perform system enhancements in partnership with Enterprise Technology.
- Data Query & Aggregation: Leverage SQL to query databases and aggregate data for further analysis. Work with APIs to retrieve data on securities, assess coverage, and validate data formats.
- Bloomberg API Knowledge: Utilize the Bloomberg API to pull relevant data, leveraging expertise (or the ability to learn) in constructing grids of security identifiers and data fields.
