We are partnering with a national client in the Cold Storage Warehouse industry to recruit a Sales Tax Manager. This role entails analyzing and researching indirect tax paperwork. Responsibilities

Overview: Seeking a highly skilled Sales Tax Manager to support efforts in optimizing tax mappings within the Sales Tax engine. The ideal candidate will assist in cleaning up tax-related processes, specifically focusing on Buyers' PO selections that impact GL numbers and Sales Tax decisions in the OneSource.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean up and review Buyer PO selections in relation to GL numbers, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the OneSource Tax engine.
• Communicate updates to PO selections to relevant warehouse teams for timely and correct tax processing.
• Add capital expenditures and identify taxable commodities based on purchase data.
• Format and develop communications for buyers to correct PO entries that affect taxable purchases.
• Assist with various other Sales & Use Tax (S&U) tasks as directed to ensure proper tax reporting and compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience in Sales & Use Tax, with a deep understanding of tax mappings and tax engines (OneSource experience preferred).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams, including warehouse and purchasing departments, to drive tax process improvements.
• Experience in reviewing, cleaning up, and updating Buyer PO selections, capital expenditures, and taxable commodities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in identifying and correcting tax-related issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a tight timeframe and meet deadlines.
