Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates activities of production workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Performs duties in accordance with all applicable quality system procedures and standardized work
- instructions.
- Provides ongoing training to employees on company policies, safety regulations, and standard work
- procedures.
- Assists the Supervisor in analyzing and resolving work problems and assists workers in solving
- work problems.
- Ensures all records related to methods/job travelers, including Raw Material Traceability and Set
- Up Check sheets, are complete and accurate.
- Directs setup and adjustments of machines to ensure specific operational performance and optimum
- utilization.
- Establishes or adjusts work assignments to meet production schedules.
- Inspects in process and finished products to verify conformance to specifications and initiates
- corrective action if any non-conformance is found.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of
- product.
- Suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
