Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to secure materials and supplies in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contracts and terms.
• Monitor supplier performance to address any issues related to quality, cost, or delivery.
• Oversee inventory management to avoid shortages or overstocking, utilizing ERP systems to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements for medical devices.
• Analyze market trends to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier performance.
