Randstad is now hiring a Credit and Collections Specialist for one of our clients in the blown film extrusion industry. The Credit and Collections Specialist will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, initiating collection efforts, evaluating credit applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate collection activities.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and letters to resolve payment issues.
• Evaluate credit applications, establish credit limits based on company policies, and approve daily orders.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit and collection activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding credit and collections.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of previous experience in credit and collections or a similar role.
• Understanding of credit and collections processes and principles.
• Business-to-Business collections experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, math, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Proven ability to make ethical business decisions, especially when dealing with clients.
