Responsibilities
- Answer inbound/make outbound calls and assist caller/customer with requests.
- Investigates problems using computer systems, databases, and established procedures.
- Contacts customers with solutions, obtains further information or triages call to appropriate party.
- Interacts with customers in support of program requirements, adheres to clearly defined tasks, applies foundational understanding of patient support programs, and provides a positive customer experience.
- Develops working/foundational knowledge of commercial and public insurance plans and benefit structures (e.g., Prior Authorization) to support customer interactions.
- Adheres to all client and company standards for observing and reporting patient safety and privacy policies
- Assist with navigation of a customer/stakeholder account and tasks associated with their role.
- Escalates individual telephony and technical issues affecting client/caller interactions with program in a timely manner to supervisor.
- Adheres to contact center performance metrics, departmental guidelines, and specifically outlined detailed policies and procedures, to support overall service levels.
