Responsibilities

• Invoice Creation: Generate accurate invoices for customers based on sales orders or contracts.
• Payment Collection: Monitor incoming payments, ensuring that customer accounts are paid in a timely manner.
• Customer Communication: Address customer inquiries, resolve payment issues, and provide account details as needed.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely collections.
• Credit Management: Evaluate customer creditworthiness and work with sales teams to establish appropriate credit limits.
• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving payment disputes or discrepancies.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements.
• Expense Tracking: Ensure proper coding and categorization of expenses, assisting with budget adherence.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and ensure timely filing of documentation.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant sales tax, VAT, and other local tax laws when processing payments.
