Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, tests, and measurements on products to ensure they meet quality specifications
- Identify and address quality issues during production and implement corrective actions
- Set up equipment and gather necessary materials to maintain product quality
- Review and interpret customer specifications, prints, and related documentation
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards at all stages of production
- Monitor production processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Maintain proper documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions
- Conduct visual inspections to detect product defects or non-conformities
- Work proactively to resolve quality problems quickly and efficiently
- Uphold the company’s quality policies in all tasks
- Be flexible and willing to cross-train across different departments and equipment
- Experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Previous inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Basic visual inspection skills to identify defects
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
