Responsibilities

• Partners with the business to determine objectives of negotiation (e.g., additional services, optimal value, favorable contract terms, etc.).
• Develops, scopes, constructs, issues, and coordinates requests for Information, Quotation, and Proposal, based on the business requirements.
• Develops negotiation strategies and leads negotiations of complex contract provisions.
• Partners closely with the business and other subject matter advisors to ensure that the best interests of Capital Group are represented in negotiations.
• Evaluates and manages RFX vendor responses and provides analysis and recommendations to the business area.
• Coordinates with Legal, Insurance, and Risk departments to develop complex Statements of Work (SOW) or contracts for sourcing engagements or projects.
• Ensures the terms and conditions in the contract meet the business requirements; helps Business Partners understand contractual implications.
• Responsibilities may also include working with the business areas in developing overall vendor strategy including spend analysis, vendor and product/service research, benchmarking, vendor viability and risk mitigation.
• Will manage approximately 10-15 contracts in a month ranging from different levels of complexity. For example: Sourcing for video equipment and sourcing for new labor contracts
