A Richmond company, with a trusted team of professionals providing expert tax preparation and financial services to individuals and businesses are seeking a temporary Tax Preparer with at least 3 years of experience, including trust experience, to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation within a supportive and dynamic work environment, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Job Description: As a Temporary Tax Preparer, you will play a key role in preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns under the guidance of our senior CPAs. You will be responsible for working directly with clients to gather necessary documentation, ensuring all information is accurate, and providing professional service to meet deadlines. Your experience in trust tax preparation will be a key asset in delivering comprehensive solutions to our clients. This position offers the flexibility of working both in-office and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns in compliance with current federal and state tax laws
• Communicate directly with clients to gather financial documents and clarify any information
• Review client files and verify the accuracy of data provided
• Assist with tax-related questions and concerns, particularly regarding trust

salary: $18 - $24 per hour
