Responsibilities
- Review and process outstanding insurance claims while adhering to company and legal standards.
- Identify and resolve billing errors and discrepancies.
- Submit claims and follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and other departments to clarify information and advocate for proper claim handling.
- Maintain up-to-date records of billing activities, payments, adjustments, and denials.
- Assist in the implementation of strategies to reduce the overall billing backlog.
