Responsibilities

As a Data Science Intern, you will work closely with Operational Design Center in developing new analytics solutions that use machine learning techniques and in evolving existing analytic capabilities to assist Clinical Study teams and related stakeholders. You will apply your problem-solving ability and technical skills to utilize data from multiple internal and external sources to inform data-driven decisions that result in efficient clinical trial execution. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to interact with teams across the organization, wrangle massive datasets, build data pipelines, as well as develop analytics and visualization tools. Potential project areas include: patient enrollment forecasting to support study feasibility; evolve, automate and scale existing analytics; develop new analytics and related visualizations.

• Fluent in SQL, R & Python. Experience with data science adjacent libraries such as Numpy and Pandas is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
