Responsibilities
- Process large payrolls for 2,000+ employees across 47 states using HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, UKG, UltiPro preferred).
- Manage high-volume timesheet validation and adjustments to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Administer multi-state payroll tax compliance and perform tax reconciliations across 46 states.
- Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reconciliations, including W-2 processing and distribution.
- Audit and finalize payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments for all employees.
- Process manual checks, from calculation to printing and sealing of envelopes.
- Record and process authorized timesheet and pay adjustments as necessary.
- Review and process incoming physical and electronic mail for garnishments and payroll tax account updates.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly answering phone calls and emails with a friendly and professional approach.
- Generate accurate and timely payroll reports to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines.
- Prepare tax liability reconciliations and ensure all tax-related filings are up to date.
