We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our team and work closely with plumbing unions. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between union members and management, addressing workplace concerns, grievances, and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements. Responsibilities include overseeing labor law compliance, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, managing employee benefits programs, and maintaining accurate records. You will also organize training sessions to enhance skills, promote workplace safety, and support professional development. This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in fostering relationships and maintaining a positive and compliant work environment.

salary: $72,000 - $85,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between union members and management, addressing workplace concerns, grievances, and disputes while ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with labor laws, union contracts, and company policies, including safety regulations and workplace standards.
• Facilitate the hiring process for unionized employees, coordinate onboarding programs, and ensure proper integration into union protocols and organizational procedures.
• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other union-negotiated perks, ensuring accurate enrollment and issue resolution.
• Organize and deliver training sessions for union members, focusing on skills enhancement, workplace safety, and professional growth to meet both employee and organizational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of union agreements, personnel files, and labor-related data while generating reports to support compliance and decision-making processes.
