Responsibilities
1. Fixed Asset Management:
a. Maintain proper records of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation for
operating income, tax income, property tax reporting, any miscellaneous
governmental reporting requirements and the preparation of the required
reports
b. Prepare updates to current fixed asset policy and procedures when required
2. Capital Budget
a. Complete project tracking sheets on a weekly and monthly basis
b. Report and track actual expenditures against budget
3. Cash Management
a. Manage cash daily and reconcile weekly
b. Process wire payments
c. Prepare weekly cash forecasts
4. Month End & Year End Close
a. Assist Controller in closing month and year end
b. Assist Controller with year-end audit
5. Census Reports
a. Prepare and submit all government census reports
6. Lease Schedules
a. Maintain lease schedules
b. Track operating and financial leases for proper accounting under ASC 842
c. Assist with updates to current lease policy
d. Reconcile lease liabilities and leased asset accounts
7. Post Bi-Weekly Payroll Journal Entry
a. Enter payroll processing reports into general ledger worksheet
b. Enter journal entry by general ledger code into ERP system
c. Reconcile general ledger postings with HR report
d. Reconcile payroll cash account
8. Assist with analysis reporting as directed by Controller
9. Monthly reconciliations of other income accounts, prepaid expenses, depreciation,
accrued payables, and other balance sheet accounts as assigned
