This reputable manufacturing company, who provides precision machining and fabrication services to a highly diversified client base including the medical, aerospace, commercial, and agriculture industries, is searching for a temporary Accounts Payable & Receivable Data-Entry Specialist to join their team! This person will primarily be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of AP transactions and general maintenance of accounting records.  

salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• General ledger journal entries and credit card and bank account reconciliation

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

• Prioritize invoices according to payment terms cash discount potential

• Ensure imaging of invoice supporting documents is completed accurately and timely preformed

• Collaborate with all co-workers and others to resolve account issues when necessary

• Reconcile vendor statements research and correct discrepancies

• Review and process credit bills

• Expense report handling

• Manage the cash application process across all company codes, ensure payments are being received through the payment portals and any unapplied cash is cleared according to the policy in place

• Generate and send out invoices to customers

• Work with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and answer questions related to invoicing

• Collaborate with internal teams (sales and operations) to address and resolve customer questions

• Participate in month & year-end closings

• Assist with month end closing, streamlining processes, and audit support when necessary
