We are looking for a Factory Cost Analyst to join our team at a large manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. This on-site role reports to the Business Controller and involves collaborating closely with various teams to analyze business performance, ensure cost control, and maintain accurate financial records. The position is integral to achieving our financial goals and operational excellence.  

salary: $45 - $48 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Cost Control & Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
• Accounts Reconciliation
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, including intercompany transactions.
• Business Performance Analysis
  • Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business goals.
• Journal Entries & General Ledger Maintenance
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting & Audit Support
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
