Position Overview: As a Legal Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of key legal events, including depositions, mediations, and hearings. You will work closely with courts, law firms, court reporters, witnesses, videographers, and other litigation support services to ensure seamless scheduling and execution of these events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm depositions, mediations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Coordinate with courts, attorneys, court reporters, videographers, witnesses, and other litigation support services.
- Manage and maintain the firm’s scheduling calendar, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with all parties to confirm details and address scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, court rules, and client requirements.
- Proven experience in legal scheduling or a related administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
- Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
