Responsibilities

Inspection.

·        Inspect the coated surfaces for defects, uniformity, and connection.

·        Familiar with the inspection tools for measuring coating thickness (ID/OD Micrometer, Eddy current, Calipers).

·        Maintain accurate records of coating procedures, material consumption, inspection results, and any other relevant data required for documentation and quality control purposes.

Operator.

 

·        Properly prepare surfaces to be coated, by cleaning, Masking, grit blasting, and ensuring the surface is free from contaminants, ensuring optimal adhesion of the coating.

·        Operate and arrange thermal spray materials, including powders to be fed into the HVOF Metco DJCE & PLASMA (3M, SG-100 and SG-2086 Extension) gun, for the coating process.

·        Apply accurate testing practices and equipment to evaluate the coating's thickness and quality, ensuring it meets industry standards and client specifications.

·        Spray metal using wire or powder procedures.

·        Collaborate with Coating management and Technical Representative to acknowledge technical problems to maintain efficient operations.
