Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility: Administer retirement benefits across the company, providing guidance to associates and management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 401(k) and pension plans for Union and Non-Union associates.
- Advise associates on company policies and procedures.
- Process 401(k) claims and assist beneficiaries.
- Handle monthly reconciliation and processing of Union pension payments.
- Generate reports as required.
- Complete quality assurance reviews.
- Manage regular/return mail for the Benefits department.
- Perform various administrative duties including filing, scheduling meetings, and handling office supplies.
- Support Health & Welfare tasks as needed.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Benefits Administration experience, preferably in Manufacturing.
- Understanding of retirement plans, compliance, and legal requirements.
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work in a dynamic environment.
