- Respond to calls with professionalism and sound judgment, including crisis situations
- Provide referrals, service planning, and documentation for all calls
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with ORR, legal service providers, and government agencies
- Assess child safety concerns and make appropriate referrals
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with immigrant populations or child welfare
- Experience interviewing at-risk children and working with refugee populations
- Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint
- Must be eligible for a Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities
Provide quality services to children, sponsors, community members and other callers, while maintaining professional judgement, especially in situations where the caller is in crisis.
- Respond to incoming calls as needed
- Maintain professionalism during calls involving behavioral disruptions, mental health crises, or runaway situations
- Collaborate with call center staff and stakeholders to ensure service execution
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Triage calls to determine appropriate responses, referrals, and service planning
- Maintain quality standards for all calls
- Meet deadlines set by program supervisors and federal partners
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing
- Work with stakeholders, including legal service providers, court officials, and government agencies
- Assess behavioral or situational changes that may impact child safety
- Make referrals to federal, state, and local officials as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and guidance to callers in distress
- Accurately document all calls electronically
- Submit required reports in a timely manner
- Follow established protocols and policies for handling calls
