Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, developing and maintaining department budgets and generating cost reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible for general ledger, month end and year end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, sales tax return filing, and fixed asset accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter invoices into accounts payable system.
- Purchase order entry into accounts payable system
- General ledger coding of various invoices, including allocations.
- Post payments.
- Assist with gathering data to post commission payments.
- Assist with setting up new vendors.
- Assist with cash receipt posting to accounts receivable.
- Assist with credit posting to accounts receivable.
- Support Senior Financial Analyst with monitoring daily reports.
- Respond to questions from vendors.
- Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors and team members.
- Apply supplier credits.
- Run weekly vendor checks.
- Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as requested by supervisor or manager.
- Support internal and external audits as needed annually.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and CRM's
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to read and understand financial reports
- 100% in office
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Experience with accounts payable cash receipts and general ledger
- Work 7-4:00 pm or 8-4:30 pm, flexible
