Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Planner, job duties include:
- Manage relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with the Supply Management Specialist to monitor and drive improvement in quality, delivery, and overall supplier performance.
- Oversee the scheduling and expediting of purchased materials to align with the production plan.
- Recommend premium logistic alternatives when necessary to support production needs.
- Ensure a smooth transition from the Product Delivery Process (PDP) to the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) by overseeing the timely placement and receipt of initial production orders.
- 2+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials planning, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and material replenishment strategies.
- Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes and Product Delivery Processes (PDP).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
