Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison between partners, clients, and staff to ensure clear communication and smooth service delivery.
• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing tax planning, compliance services, multi-state filings, and tax accruals.
• Lead client service efforts by creating tailored engagement plans and managing expectations.
• Identify and research technical tax issues to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing industry insights, identifying value-added opportunities, and making strategic business recommendations.
• Oversee and delegate tax examinations, representing clients in interactions with tax authorities as necessary.
• Proactively manage engagement financials by analyzing data, reports, and resolving issues or discrepancies.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and staying engaged year-round.
• Mentor and coach tax associates, supporting their development through training and constructive feedback.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, identifying new revenue opportunities, and promoting innovative solutions.
• Participate in the firm's performance management process, aligning team goals with overall firm objectives.
