We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Construction Accountant to manage all aspects of project billing and financial documentation for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction accounting, including proficiency with AIA billing, lien releases, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and vendor/client insurance requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with subcontractors and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 100% in office, Jax, FL

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Billing: Prepare and submit accurate monthly owner billings, ensuring compliance with contract terms and schedules.
  
  
• AIA Documentation: Utilize AIA G702/G703 forms for customer billing, ensuring all documentation is precise and submitted timely.
  
  
• Lien Releases: Manage lien waiver processes, ensuring all necessary releases are obtained and documented appropriately.
  
  
• Work-In-Progress (WIP) Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed WIP reports to monitor project financial status and progress.
  
  
• Insurance Compliance: Ensure all vendors and clients meet insurance requirements, maintaining up-to-date records of certificates and related documents.
  
  
• Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, preparing aging reports to track outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
  
  
• Subcontractor Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with subcontractors regarding payments, insurance, and lien waivers, addressing any issues promptly.
  
  
• Budget Management: Upload and manage project budgets within the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
